While reviewing the course today for the Germantown Road Race, it was apparent that this winter has been rather harsh on the dirt road section of Anthony Rd used for this race.  The heavy snows have started melting creating a very wet and muddy road which is developing deep ruts from the small amount of vehicle traffic that does use this road.  We will review this section again on the morning of the race with the Chief Referee to determine if it is usable for the race.  If it is deemed unsuitable for use in our race, we will use this alternate route on MapMyRide.

This alternate route is about 1.1 miles shorter than the original loop.  The only thing that will be missing will be the dirt/gravel road that is in question.
